London wedding videographer

I love to tell stories. I started out in TV, many years ago in BBC News as a video editor. The fast paced newsroom taught not just to be fast, but to concentrate on the story. That has stayed with me.

Below are a few films of the recent wedding videos I’ve made in and around London.

Surrey Wedding videographer

Surrey Downs Golf Course

Mikel and Eli looked beautiful as the sun set over the lake of the golf course.

Despite some very British weather and the struggles of organising everything during a pandemic, everything came together perfectly.

Elopement wedding Video

Lovely wedding with stylish couple in Hackney Town Hall, then a romantic shoot in London Fields, the local park.

We shot some picture inside the town hall with the pure white walls and art deco design.

Lucas & Cassandra were the coolest couple.

Gay wedding video

To the soundtrack of Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up. Craig and Steve married at Archbishop's Palace in Maidstone wearing pink suits and pride coloured flowers.
The best man was a nephew and the parents of both were present for the ceremony and the exchange of wedding rings.

Valentine’s Mansion wedding video

Edited with a mix of video and stills, with the music of Nick Drake, Marcus & Tonie were full of romance at Valentine’s Mansion in April 2021.

Leez Priory wedding video

The wedding of Val and Royston at Leez Priory in Essex.

After cancelling their Barbados wedding due to the lockdown, Val and Royston finally gathered family and friends together in the Essex for a beautiful wedding and a celebration of their life together.

Engagement videography London

Two lovers dance in a ruin.

Bella & James in the beautiful City of London ruin of St Dunstan’s in the East.

I had a beautiful venue and gorgeous couple for this London engagement video.

Indian wedding customs and rituals

A documentary explaining Indian weddings.

Sanj and Camille had a civil wedding ceremony a few days before, but the groom’s mother wanted to send a film home to India, so that the family could see and enjoy that Indian culture is being explained to the English family, and is still being preserved in the modern day.

Wedding Video and photography packages London

I’m available as both a photographer and videographer for your wedding, whether in London or in the surrounding counties.

By instinct I like to combine video with the still images of your wedding day.

Most often I’m hired as a photographer and videographer, and I would usually hire in a video person rather than hire in a stills person. However, it’s always me who brings it all together in the edit. I started out as an editor, cutting my teeth on BBC News and other shows. That’s how you know that the standard of film making is broadcast standard, because I was learnt at the broadcasters.

Wedding videography Surrey

I’m available to film and photograph wedding in the county of Surrey.

Wedding Video packages

The basic package is also the most important one. A single film that tells your story, usually to the sound of a song or two. That gives you an idea of the length.

Documentary wedding videos

If you want an all day video compiled on 30 or 40 minutes, this is also possible. It makes a nice gift to your guests. People tend to watch these videos primarily to see themselves. It’s my job to catch them laughing or dancing, and generally being happy.

Video of wedding speeches.

Beyond this I can record the speeches in full and that can be put together for you also. Usually I would want to do this on two cameras in order that I can cut between them, however, I can record it on a single camera, as long as you are ready for the camera to bump around at moments, or be pointing in the wrong direction at the beginning of a speech if I am caught off guard.

All audio is recorded separate, usually with a mic that I can clip onto the lapel of the speaker, in order to guarantee that we get a good sound recording. Whether it’s the best man or a parent of the bride or groom, the biggest difference between me recording it and a guest doing it on their phone is that my sound should clear and audible throughout.
